Third Ward Trill is a mash-up mixtape from DJ Young Venom and DJ Breakem Off dedicated to Beyonce and the culture of her hometown of Houston, TX. The project combines the instrumentals of artists like UGK, ESG, Trae the Truth, Lil Keke and many more with the vocals of the reigning Queen B.

The idea came from the liner notes of Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail in which all of Beyonce’s contributions are credited to Third Ward Trill. The Third Ward is located in Southeast Houston and has been prominent in the Country Rap Tunes culture of the city.

This is a tribute to Beyonce and and the rich musical culture of Houston, TX that helped to influence on her journey to the superstar she is today.
